Hub_site_logo_placeholder.png

Located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, the Alberta Children’s Hospital is one of two Pediatric Children’s Hospitals in the Province. Our Emergency Department, which sees over 76,000 pediatric visits a year, receives children from all over southern Alberta as well as children from South Eastern British Columbia and South Western Saskatchewan. The KidSIM Pediatric Simulation Program, operates out of the Alberta Children’s Hospital where our state of the art simulation center is housed. For the past 10 years, KidSIM has been running a mobile education outreach program bringing pediatric simulation and education to approximately 32 urban and rural centers throughout our catchment area. Our mandate has always been to try and improve pediatric acute care and comfort level at our referral centers. As such, we are excited to be collaborating with the ImPACTS group whose aim and mission aligns with ours.
