Becca Mielke is an RN specializing in pediatric emergency care, with 17 years of experience. Currently serving as the RN Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator & Quality Champion at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, she is also the Associate Director for Nursing Curriculum Development at the DCMC Simulation Center and Lead Nurse Content Creator for SimBox.

 

Becca is pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Healthcare Quality & Patient Safety. She also participates with several groups, such as the Texas Pediatric Readiness Project as a R-PECC and Education Series presenter, GETAC simulation work group, and serves on the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) Pediatric Committee. She recently presented her eposter at the national ENA conference on QI of pediatric triage ESI assigning, where education and simulation were used as interventions, and was a PRQC Fireside chat panelist.

 

Her commitment to enhancing pediatric emergency care continues to make a significant impact in her field.
