Camilia Brandt, MS, RN, CEN, CPEN

State Project Manager, Michigan

Cam retired from a rewarding 40-year career in pediatric emergency nursing, which included roles in neonatal flight nursing, pediatric emergency and trauma nursing, and nursing education. For over 30 years, she has served as an instructor for American Heart Association (AHA) and Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) courses, as well as a speaker at various pediatric-related events. In 2023, she received the ENA’s Judith C. Kelleher Award. 

 

Her extensive experience has fueled her dedication to improving preparedness for caring for ill and injured children and mentoring others to develop the necessary knowledge and skills for all aspects of pediatric emergency care. She is actively involved with the ImPACTS team and serves as the project manager for the Michigan Pediatric Readiness Improvement Project, collaborating with colleagues to help hospitals in Michigan enhance their pediatric readiness.
